Who We Are & What We Do
K9 Possible was founded in Nova Scotia in 2013 and relocated in 2014 the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Initially starting with Dog Training in Penticton as well as Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid courses.
Since then many things have changed...
Obedience training, while part of our services is not our focus, but rather helping you connect with your dog beyond training and really learn to live a life on a level where we can grow as dog owners and people.
Services have transformed to focus on holistic dog training and behaviour support not only for dog owners but also pet professionals who are looking to level up their business. We strive for dog's that are healthy from the inside out.
Our dog training programs as well as services for pet professionals are one of a kind to give the student a learning experience that will set them up for success not just for now but also the future.
Meet Simone K - Human Behind K9 Possible
I don't want to give you the spiel like everybody else how I have been training dogs since I was a child and woah look at me with all the fancy things. Did I grow up with dogs, yes... does it matter... not really.
Am I a damn good trainer/coach? Heck yes!
I got into training when I found myself envying the job of my then dog trainer that I used for my Bull Terrier and very first own dog, soul dog Durian (RIP 2008-2020).
I am a dog enthusiast first and dog trainer second. To me, my dogs are my life partners. I'm not your trainer that is into flashy dog sports etc. even though I think they're great and like to dabble in them here and here. I'm generally a regular active dog owner... my dogs are my hobby AND life. They come first and always have.
And because I'm a dog owner first, I don't have crazy expectations for my students on flashy obedience training. I just want them to thrive with their dog in a way that fits them. AND I want to speak for their dogs so they can learn how their dogs can thrive WITH them on every level.
I'm into dog psychology, nutrition, biological fulfillment and all, but also the nitty gritty stuff like using essential oils and other holistic therapies. If we really want the best for our dogs, we're open to everything that serves them.
And at the same time I like business. Yup, I always wanted to be an entrepreneur. So fast forward, I put two things together that make me happy and I have a natural hack and the education for.
I'm your person if you care about the MORE for your dog or your clients and their dogs if you're a pet professional.
I'm also your person if you're looking for someone who's going to be authentic, honest and teaching you from their heart... because I believe that only in such way, what needs to be taught will be delivered.
If you like bully breeds, tattoos, chocolate and cheese, we probably should go for lunch HA!
